I feel fortunate to live in the great state of Maine, surrounded by natural beauty—mountains and forests, lakes and the ocean. A bonus is living in the Kennebunks and being near the coastline. Each season is a new opportunity to capture all that Maine has to offer. Living near Cape Porpoise Harbor and the Kennebunk River provides me with an ever-changing scene: lobsterboats steaming in and out, watercraft making their way from the inlet at the Kennebunk River, and sailboats making their way out to sea. One of the greatest rewards is when someone lets me know I captured a photograph of their father’s boat as it was passing by the Portland Head Light, or their last pleasure trip of the season. I love to share these moments. This photo shows boats in the harbor at Cape Porpoise.
